Cake brownies are one of my favorite things to make, just because they are so simple. However, I always think it's fun for the kids when you have brightly colored treats, so these non-brownie (i.e. blondie) bars are the perfect dessert.
1 box of Duncan Hines white cake mix
2/3 cup milk
1/3 cup oil
1 large egg
½ cup white chocolate chips
½ cup round rainbow sprinkles
1. Preheat oven to 350 F.
2. Grease an 8 x 8 baking dish and set aside.
3. Pour the cake mix, oil, milk and egg into a mixing bowl, and use a wooden spoon to stir until well mixed.
4. Stir in the chocolate chips.
5. Add the rainbow sprinkles and stir quickly to combine. Pour into the prepared dish right away and put it into the oven.
6. Bake for 20 – 25 minutes. The center should still be soft and gooey.
